“A great small ‘hidden’ restaurant.”
Paulines, although on the Main Road in Sea Point, is a restaurant you can easily overlook.
It is approximately 3kms / 2.5miles from Cape Town central.
It has a very dedicated following.
It has a very basic menu, but the food is good and the coffee excellent.
I tried (and I know it sounds like something to be avoided) a toasted peppers and mozzarella on sour dough bread.
It was actually really good.
There is no table service. You go to the counter to order but the food is brought to your table.
It is small and has only about 6 tables seating a maximum of 20 people.
