“A really excellent restaurant.”
The Grillhouse in Rosebank, about 7 kms / 4.5 miles, from Sandton City, has been going for over 25 years, and has remained one of the top steakhouses / restaurants in not only Johannesburg, but in South Africa.
Their steaks and meat dishes are especially amazing and they have an unbelievably diverse wine cellar.
They are one of the very few restaurants that realise that when you order a steak blue rare or very rare, or rare, that it should not come on a sizzling plate.
Definitely worth a visit even though their prices are somewhat high.
