“Outstanding Boutique Hotel.”
I hesitate to recommend this hotel as it will then make getting a booking even more difficult, but it is magnificent.
Forum Homini is an outstanding hotel within the premises of the Letamo Game reserve within the Cradle of Humankind, approximately 70 kms/44 miles from Sandton.
The hotel itself seems as if it was build built into the mountain as the rooms are hidden with grass covering the roof.
It has only 14 rooms, so booking ahead is essential.
We stayed in the honeymoon suite, which is absolutely magnificent.
There is an outside jacuzzi, an inside jacuzzi bath, a shower with 2 shower heads, a lounge area, a wonderful double bed, I could go on but it is something you should see for yourself.
It was an amazing experience.
From your first greeting at reception, the staff are polite and extremely helpful.
If this is the type of hotel and setting you enjoy, it is a must visit.
In fact even if you think you may not enjoy this type of setting you should visit anyhow.
The restaurant at the hotel, Roots, is fantastic.
