The beach at Umhlanga is well maintained and in front or the various, more upmarket hotels in Umhlanga.
It has an ok restaurant and there are a few vendors selling cool drinks, ice cream, etc who walk up and down the beach.
There is also a paved walkway running along the beach which is also well maintained and about 2 kms long.
