“In definite decline.”
The hotel has been a feature of Johannesburg for well over 60 years, had a wonderful pub and restaurant specialising in Portuguese food.
Unfortunately the hotel has been in decline for some time now. It is based in a ‘seedier’ side of Johannesburg, and I honestly would not recommend a stay there.
The only reason I have stated it is poor and not terrible is in the ‘possibly forlorn hope’ that it may be renovated sometime.
The restaurant is still ok, but……….
