“Stunning Restaurant in Baskinta.”
This restaurant has been going for umpteen years, and I was told just seems to be getting better.
It is an outdoors restaurant albeit with canvas ‘tent’ decking over most of the restaurant to protect you from, what can be, the searing heat.
The food is really good and the variety superb.
It is a relaxed easy going atmosphere, where you are expected to eat and relax, eat and relax, eat ……
In Lebanon you do not rush your food, but rather enjoy every morsel.
Arak is obligatory and definitely does add to the flavour.
Service is excellent.
They have a water cascade which falls into pools where their white and black trout swim.
I have never seen white or black trout before and did not know they existed.
I was used to the rainbow or brown trout.
They are delicious.
