Downtown Restaurant

“Upmarket restaurant with great and varied food.”

This restaurant is not your typical Middle Eastern restaurant but rather an upmarket restaurant offering foods from burgers to steak and frog’s legs.

Just a word of warning, when you sit at the bar for a drink or a meal be careful, very careful of the bartender, he is bloody marvellous.

He will fill your glass at least half full with whatever you order – be it whiskey, brandy, vodka or whatever, as he considers anything less than that is not worth his effort.

He will then offer you various ‘shots’. Some of which you will know, and some of which he has made up on the spot.

Saying no does not seem to make much of a difference.

And don’t worry about the cost, it is extremely reasonable.

Be sure you arrange a taxi.

It is really a wonderful experience, not to be missed.

If you are there on a Tuesday from about 19:00 to 21:00 you will find Charlie sitting at the bar, impeccably dressed enjoying his Tuesday evening quiet time, whilst immersed with the food and drink.

Say hello quickly, tell him Clive said to greet him, and then leave, if he does not have people around him enjoying a laugh and the food and drink.

He considers this his “me” time during the week.

“Great restaurant in Lebanon.”

This restaurant is across the road from the beach in Kaslik.

The food is great, and service as good.

They have a variety of foods from typical Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine to good international dishes.

Definitely worth a visit.
