“Great restaurant, but disappointing.”
Assaggi is a great restaurant, but recently is starting to let its standards slip.
We were there for dinner recently.
Their lasagna was superb, both the standard with meat as well as the vegetarian, however their veal was tough and dried out, in fact my guests left most of it on their plates and their “salad” (I hesitate to call it that) was simply a very bad combination of lettuce leaves, a few pieces of sliced radishes, some red onions and a few cut tomatoes.
The service also left a lot to be desired.
Come on Assaggi, you are better than that.
