Midpoint Istanbul Fine Dining

“Really good Turkish / Middle-Eastern food, a few blocks down from Yale.”

We had the tapas, which included the standard: hummus, olives, tarama, chilli, etc served with pita bread.

The portions were smallish but sufficient.

I had the mixed grill and my wife, the prawns as mains.

Both were delicious.

The owners / managers / chefs are really friendly and helpful.

Please, please Americans the main course is not called entree. Entre (Entree) is French which actually means “enter / come in”. It signifies starters, not a main course.

I have noticed recently that a number of restaurants have understood that, and the mains are now listed under Mains…

Sorry I had to get that off my mind…
