“Pleasant cocktail / beer bar although the restaurant downstairs is worth a miss.”
The Foundry Kitchen and Bar is on the second and first floors of the Westin Hotel Times Square.
The bar sector is very pleasant with a nice basic menu.
It has a great atmosphere, and the food is acceptable.
I found the serving staff are very friendly and willing to help.
Their ‘normal / standard’ margarita is really good.
I say normal because I’ve found that many places in New York have added their own twist which simply detracts from what it should taste like.
However to each their own.
That being said I found the food at the restaurant downstairs just acceptable, however crazily over priced.
