The V&A Waterfront is definitely the premier ‘tourist’ attraction in Cape Town with a plethora of shops, including international brands such as H&M, Zara, Cotton On etc, restaurants, craft beer pubs, the obligatory food court, as well as international ‘high end’ shops such as Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger, Louis Vuitton, and the like. There are also two 5 star hotels as well as other hotels on the periphery.
It is definitely worth a visit.
