“Wonderful restaurant on the Haute Cabriere wine estate.”
We went to Haute Cabriere in Franschhoek, approximately 75kms / 47 miles from Cape Town for their tasting menu dinner, which was a wine pairing.
The menu included Steak Tartare, a Prawn Tagliatelle, Wild Mushroom Risotto, a Venison Ragout and a Crepes Suzette Dessert.
All dishes were served with an accompanying wine that was very well paired.
Haute Cabriere is regarded as one of the best restaurants in South Africa.
A definite must when in Franschhoek
