“Amazing meal and restaurant.”
We went to Villa 47 on Bree for dinner last night, situated in Cape Town city centre.
The restaurant itself actually consists of 3 ‘different’ restaurants, serving differing types of food, in the same building, although all are owned by the same owner.
We went to the ground floor.
My wife and I had the chefs recommendation which was the prime rib on the bone.
We asked for it to be served rare which it was, perfectly.
It was simply amazing, definitely one of the best prime ribs I have had.
Our friends had the grilled kingklip (a firm flesh fish occurring along the southern African west coast) and tagliatelle, both of which were delicious.
Booking is essential.
Prices are high, not crazily so, but worth it.
Definitely worth a visit when in Cape Town.
