“Still good but somehow not as good as in the past.”
The Thundergun Steakhouse has been going for almost a half century, and will in all probability keep going for another 50 years.
The restaurant is in Northcliff / Randburg which is about 12kms / 7.5 miles from Sandton City.
The food is good, the portions generous and service great, but the spark seems to have gone.
Don’t get me wrong, it is still great but somehow not as good as before.
The prices for their steaks and ribs which were always very reasonable have escalated substantially and honestly they are not worth the price.
I had not been there for over a year and honestly will be in no rush to go there again.
