“Very good apartment hotel in Seapoint.”
The Peninsula is a very good apartment hotel along the beach Road in Seapoint.
It is basically at the end of Main Road intersecting with Beach Road.
It has a wonderful sea view and the rooms are really great and a lot of them have a private jacuzzi.
There is a pool downstairs with the obligatory mini gym.
The beach across the road is not great but you can have a dip in the sea of you are brave enough to swim in the cold water. About 20°C / 68F in summer.
It is about 5kms/3m from the Waterfront, about 3kms from Camps Bay and 3kms from Table Mountain.
There are a few nice restaurants within walking distance and the hotel does offer a shuttle service to the Waterfront
However the outside of the building desperately needs a coat of paint.
Oh, and parking at the hotel is impossible, but they have rented some space across the road.
