“Good Italian restaurant in Northcliff.”
Lambruscos is a good Italian restaurant in Northcliff.
For those of you with very long memories, Raffaele Adamo with his father and brother had one of the best Italian restaurants ever, Cortina, in the centre of Johannesburg.
While Raffaele does not match those standards of excellence, with the myriad anti pastas, it was a different world in those days , however the food is very good.
I had the lasagne, which was served on a plate, the first time ever I have not had it served in a “bowl” (for some reason I cannot think of the correct name) however it was good.
My friends had prawns and a pizza, which were both good.
Anyone in the Northcliff area and surrounding towns, definitely worth a visit.
Oh, and on weekends you must book.
