It is approximately 20 kms / 12 miles from Sandton.
About a 20 minute drive out of rush hour.
It has been there, for what seems like forever, and the food is genuine Portuguese, or as close as you are likely to get outside of Portugal.
From Chicken livers, to giblets, to peri peri chicken, portuguese steak, prawns and other seafood, it has everything you could look for.
The food is generally very good, although the prices have risen lately and especially for the seafood it has become really expensive.
Booking is usually essential, especially over weekends.
