“Excellent hotel Sandton South Africa.”
The Balalaika is a 4 star hotel in the heart of Sandton.
It was originally built about 60 years ago when it took about a hour’s trip to get there from the city of Johannesburg on dirt roads.
It has had numerous make overs over the years and the latest was a complete renovation of the rooms, etc.
It still gives the impression of being in the country.
Overall a great hotel.

Room tip: Ask for a room not too far from the lower pool. There are 2, and the lower one is secluded and much quieter. Book room with breakfast. They are great.
